Travelers planning to reach or depart Bandung by train can proceed without concern: PT Kereta Api Indonesia's Operational Area 2 (Daop 2 Bandung) has confirmed that all train services and station operations within its network are running normally, unaffected by the ongoing eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau.
Kuswardojo, Public Relations Manager for KAI Daop 2 Bandung, made the announcement on Sunday, stating that no disruptions to train movements or passenger services had been recorded as a result of the volcanic activity in the Sunda Strait.
