Warsaw's live music scene reaches a new threshold this week. Sektor6D, a modular post-industrial warehouse venue, opens on 11 September 2026 with a configurable capacity that scales from 4,000 all the way up to 15,000. That upper figure more than triples the capacity of Torwar Hall, the historic arena that has long held the title of the city's largest indoor venue at 4,824 seats. The venue is operated and programmed by Refactore, an overarching brand that also runs sub-brands including Exist, Surround, and Sektor. The team has cited post-industrial venues in the United Kingdom, such as Drumsheds and Printworks, as reference points for the kind of atmosphere they want to create. The warehouse aesthetic is deliberate: booker Michel Morales told IQ Magazine, which first reported the opening, that the setting resonates strongly with the current moment in rave culture and gives artists a genuinely different production canvas.
Flexibility is central to the concept. Booker Janek Rezner noted that the ability to configure the room anywhere between 4,000 and 15,000 is itself a first for Poland, not just Warsaw. That range lets the team match the room to the show rather than forcing every event into the same footprint.
Opening Season and Ticket Pricing
The inaugural season features performances from Sub Focus, Charlotte de Witte, CamelPhat, Holy Priest, Duke Dumont, and Sara Landry, with established event brands Boiler Room and Elrow also hosting nights. The season is expected to run through to May, when outdoor events resume.
Refactore CEO Pradyumna Issar confirmed that general admission tickets for opening season shows will be priced under €60. That figure is a conscious decision to keep a premium electronic music experience within reach for the Eastern European market, particularly given that the indoor season launches immediately after festival season when audiences have already spent heavily.
Beyond Warsaw: A Broader Venue Philosophy
Refactore's ambitions extend beyond a single building. The team recently promoted two sold-out shows by Anyma at the Gdańsk Shipyard in August, a site Rezner described as historically significant across Poland and Central Europe as the location where the political movement that contributed to the collapse of communism took shape in the early 1990s. The connection between that sense of hard-won freedom and the ethos of electronic music events is something the team draws on deliberately.
Morales told IQ Magazine that 2027 is already shaping up to be a major year for the operation.

Independent accommodation operators in Warsaw, particularly those in Praga and other districts close to the venue's post-industrial corridor, are likely to see a sustained increase in demand on show nights. A venue that can hold up to 15,000 people and is booking internationally recognised artists across an indoor season from September to May represents a reliable, recurring source of short-stay visitors. Hosts who note proximity to major live events in their listings and communicate clearly about late check-in options will be better positioned to capture bookings from attendees travelling from other Polish cities and from abroad.
